Hope Mission Welfare Society is a non-profit organization based in Teluk Intan, which began in 2008 with just three girls. It soon got its registration under Registry of Societies and Department of Social welfare, Malaysia on 9 April 2009.

Pr. Johnathan Muthal along with his wife Sasikala established the ‘Hope Mission Welfare Society’ under which he started ‘Hope Mission Home’ for underprivileged children. What began with just three girls is now full-fledged home with 9 staff, 20 volunteers catering to 35 children between the ages of 4 to 18. These abandoned children are at various level of schooling.

The Hope Mission Welfare Society believes in restoring shattered lives. Those abused, abandoned, neglected, orphaned children who comes from broken families are embraced with love, care and hope. By caring for their basic immediate needs like food, clothing, shelter, health care, education and most importantly their spiritual welfare.

Our 12-year journey made a difference in the lives of over 450 children for we are committed to serving the poor and needy irrespective of their religion and ethnicity. By specifically focusing on under privileged children the Hope Mission Welfare Society fulfils its mission that “Every Child deserves a better tomorrow.”
