SPCCM was established on February 9, 2001 by late Mr. Ganesan A/L Venkadalasam. The empty house that was initially surrounded by long grass was cleaned up by the hired workers in order to turn it into a day care centre that operates 24 hours a day.

Thanks to the help of other establishments, private sector, and local businessmen who provided aid in terms of equipment, SPCCM was able to start operation and provide assistance and care to the disadvantaged and those in need.
