Voice of the Children (VoC) was founded in 2008 with the primary objective of advocating for issues that impact children. VoC recognizes that the welfare and protection of every child in Malaysia can be achieved through the adoption, implementation, and enforcement of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. As a core part of its mission, VoC is dedicated to promoting legal and policy reforms that ensure children in Malaysia are safeguarded from all forms of abuse and are no longer at risk of violation. Unlike traditional children’s services that primarily provide direct care, VoC focuses on legal and policy issues, carving a unique niche in Malaysia. It strives to be a valuable resource for both service organizations and the legal community by offering information and advocacy on laws, policies, and treaties that affect children.

How You Can Help:
VoC welcomes volunteers, especially:

  • Students to assist with research and writing on children’s rights issues
  • Lawyers to support legal cases and policy matters related to children’s rights
  • Individuals interested in fundraising, communications, database management, and event organization
  • People with specific skills in public relations, web design, graphic design, interior design, and handymen/women

They are also seeking donations of office equipment and supplies, including items like laptop or desk computers, fax machines, chairs, LCD projectors, file cabinets, and office supplies.

To make a monetary donation, visit their Donations and Contributions page on their website.

For those interested in donating money or organizing fundraising events, please reach out to VoC via email or phone.

VoC appreciates both time and monetary contributions from supporters.
