BACKGROUND/HISTORY
Grace Home, a non-profit charitable organization for homeless and destitute women, was established in 1980 and registered with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and Government Welfare Care Act as Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Grace Klang.
Since its inception, it has been providing food, shelter, clothing and medical aid in a loving and caring environment to more than 600 women, who would otherwise be left in the streets with no place to call their home. The Home is managed professionally by a matron with a group of volunteer staff helping these women adjust to a new life of grace and dignity. This home will remain a haven and final residential address for many.
Thus far, we have opened doors to those who are physically handicapped, mentally underdeveloped, terminally ill, aged, stranded, abused and widows.
NEEDS
Donation in Kind: Second hand clothes are also welcome.
The home would very much appreciate volunteers to help care for the residents or wherever help can be offered.
The home would also require dried foodstuff (canned food, rice , biscuits etc), Ensure and Enercall milk products for certain dependents who have dietary problems, adult pampers (L and XL sizes).
