There are at present about 210 spastic children from ages 1 to 18 receiving education therapy and rehabilitation training at the centre. Another about 30 spastic adults work in the sheltered workshop. There are several facilities at the Spastic Centre to provide free transport, education and treatment (including physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy) to the spastic children. Some of these facilities include clinics, classrooms, hydrotherapy pool, training kitchen, computer laboratory, library, music room, buses, shops, special sports training equipment and a multi-purpose hall. Other therapies include hydrotherapy, hippotherapy (riding for the disabled) and selective posterior rhizotomy.
