HOPE was founded on the 8th March 2005 and legally registered in 2014. The desire to help others exploded from both of the founder after witnessing true stories and lives of many abundant and neglected youth and women. Both Thiyagu Renu and Prema Arasan believe in the importance of providing hope to the hopeless through initiatives aimed at improving the livelihoods of those less fortunate. The programs are motivational based, offering support services and skill-based workshops while also encouraging people from all walks of life to help others.

HOPE was originally conducted through outreach programme by the founder but with the ongoing support from the community we were able to expand and become a registered Malaysian not-for-profit organisation. Allowing us to increase the scope of our work and apply for formal grants from large-scale donors.

Currently, HOPE has managed to assist thousands of youths and women, as to now total of 150 workshops has been carried out since 2014, almost 50 young girls and women received counselling and guiding, and few of them have utilized legal services. Together with us we have 20 fulltime volunteers.
