Who are we This is a centre housing senior citizens who have been abandoned by their families.  Many of them were admitted to the hospitals for medical care by their own children and family members.  However, once they are ready to be discharged, their next of kin could not be contacted because the contact information provided to the hospitals were false. These senior citizens were left behind at hospitals with nowhere to go.
