A Nursing Home has been established for 8 years and highly dependent on public donations. Currently, they are taking care of 25 elderly aged between 60 to 90 years old. Due to the pandemic, the amount of donations decreased significantly, resulting in a huge financial burden. They mainly take in elderly who are helpless or with mobility impairment. Most of them have their own families, where they will pay a nominal hundreds of ringgits. Those elderly without relatives are free to stay. Connaught Old Folk House provides the most important factor to these seniors – Love. Regardless of race and religion, we adopt and taking care of them without any charges.
